- Leesburg Bikefest 2012
The sixteenth annual Leesburg Bikefest thunders into Lake County, April 27th through 29th, 2012. The three day motorcycle rally and music event has quickly grown to one of the largest of its kind. It's renowned for its friendly, fun-filled atmosphere and draws enthusiasts from around the country.
Entertainment includes bike exhibitions, merchandise vendors, the Ms. Bikefest pageant, biker games, specialty events and much more.
Music is a big part of BikeFest, and this year's lineup features live performances from popular rock bands FireHouse (Friday) and Seven Mary Three (Saturday).
- Traveling HOG -Elk's Club - April 22, 2012
Ocala HOG chapter held their Travelling HOG today at the Ocala Elks Lodge. Even with a much needed rain - the 'show must go on . . . '.
Festivities included lunch, 50/50 draw, awards given for the most members from a single chapter, gift card and restaurant card give-a-ways and having time to get together with old and new friends.

Dinner ride to Stumpknockers on the River. State Road 200 at the Withlacoochee River Bridge.

- Traveling HOG Chapter Ride
Sat 1/14/2012 - Traveling HOG chapter ride. Only 27 degrees in Ocala this morning when we met at Harley-Davidson of Ocala. Our ride took us north to the Gainesville American Legion Post where our chapter won the Chapter Challenge along with the Traveling HOG (Mr. Bacon). We had eighteen members participate. Congratulations Ocala Chapter 0702! What a way to start out the new year.

Biketoberfest 2010: Rode to Daytona on Saturday afternoon (10/09) about 1:00. What a beautiful day. Blue sky, about 80 degrees, no rain. Spent most of my afternoon at Harley-Davidson Daytona. Stopped by the H.O.G. Pin Stop and picked up my 2010 pin and had a cup of coffee with the girls there.

We were invited to the Friday night game so we could get the crowd in the right mood! Prior to the start of the game, our chapter rode our bikes onto the track in front of the field - with our pipes pointing back toward the stands. Right after the Star Spangle Banner - the Football team came running out on the field and we were given the signal to rev our engines. Everybody seemed to get a "kick" out of our participation. Most of us were hungry, so we rode over to the new Barbazones and had a light dinner. Temp was just around 75 degrees. A beautiful evening for riding! Thanks Jerry for getting us together and leading us!

Several members of Chapter 0737 Tallahassee rode down to Ocala today so we could have a joint ride in horse country. What a wonderful day, and beautiful ride. Rich & Ellen planned and led our ride through NW Marion County where we traveled down numerous winding roads with views of horses, cows, sheep, two deer, an eagle and overhanging trees. Thank you Rich and Ellen. We finally ended our ride at Gators Dockside for food, refreshments and big screen TVs. FSU won 31 to Zip and when we left, the Gators were winning 41 to 14.

Guy "The Big Ragu" led our small group of starving bikers to Sumter Landing in The Villages on a beautiful evening in central Florida. Weather was perfect, very little traffic and the restaurant was ready for our arrival. In addition to great "grub", the manager brought out three plates of appetizers that we thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks Guy - for another great ride!

We left Ocala Harley-Davidson around 10:30 a.m. - had a wonderful ride with more than 36 bikes. We stopped in Salt Springs for a water break - then on to Gator Joes for lunch. On a side note - the University of Florida had an early game (12:30 kick-off). They were playing the USF Bulls. Final score: Gators 38 vs South Florida 14. Go Gators!

Chapter ride to Lakeland, FL Wed - July 21, 2010 This was our day ride led by Guy - we rode down to Lakeland and had lunch at Ciao Bella Restaurant (great Italian food). Then we stopped by the Lakeland Harley dealer - everyone was super nice! We left there and found a DQ in Lakeland and quenched our sweet tooth there. Although it was overcast with a heavy cloud cover in the morning - temperatures exceeded 98 degrees (actual temp) - so we stopped several times to hydrate! Thanks Guy for a wonderful day!
